Jose Mourinho has been doing his best to get our attention once more this week.
But this time his comments have come back to haunt him.
The Chelsea boss produced more hypocritical comments this week, following his side’s goalless draw with West Ham on Wednesday.
‘The Special One’ had stirred controversy last month by labeling Luis Suarez a diver after Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Liverpool – with fans pointing out this was a man who had previously managed Arjun Robben and Didier Drogba.
And when Mourinho was quick to slam Sam Allardyce’s defensive tactics on Wednesday, claiming the Hammers display meant the game was ‘not an advert for Premier League football’ and claiming they played ’19th century football’ – fans were quick to point out his hypocrisy once more.
As this viral image shows, Mourinho said after being labeled boring himself for his defensive tactics in the 0-0 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates in December:
“I think boring is a team that plays at home and can’t score a goal. That’s boring.”
Next time, why don’t you just keep it quiet Jose?
