Former Chelsea star Adrian Mutu was never far from controversy during his time in England, and it looks like he hasn’t changed much.
The Romanian forward has been banned from ever playing for his country again, after taking to photoshop to compare his national team manager Victor Piturca, to comedy hero Mr Bean.
The 34-year-old Ajaccio striker had been hoping to establish himself back in the national set up after a difficult few years in the game, but was left out of the squad to face Greece in last week’s World Cup qualifying play off.
Mutu was clearly not best pleased with the situation, and took to photoshop to vent his anger against manager Victor Piturca, with this bizarre mock up of the coach as Mr Bean.
The picture was posted on Mutu’s Facebook page, but was promptly removed by the Romanian FA, who quickly sent the forward a letter to inform him he would not be called up to the national squad any time soon.
Will you ever learn Adrian?
