Sunday saw an occasion fit for any Tottenham fan to go out and buy a DVD.
No, it wasn’t a win over Arsenal.
And no, of course it wasn’t a trophy.
It was Roberto Soldado – the £26 million summer signing from Valencia – managing to score a goal in open play.
The Spaniard – who most Tottenham fans reckoned would win the golden boot following his arrival – managed just his second Premier League goal of the season from open play against erm… Cardiff City, on Sunday.
It turned out to be the winner, as Tottenham kept their noses in front in the battle for fifth place.
So any Tottenham fans who want to watch something almost as rare as a solar eclipse over and over again, head down to the club shop!
After all, who knows how long it will be until the sequel comes out.
