A debate has broken out inside the Football Transfer Tavern amongst Manchester United and Arsenal fans.
Last night saw a documentary air on the rivalry between Patrick Vieira and Roy Keane, and as a nice little feature at the end, the pair were asked to pick their combined best ever Manchester United and Arsenal eleven.
Peter Schmeichel pipped David Seaman (and somehow Manuel Almunia) to the number one spot, whilst Lauren controversially got the right back slot ahead of Gary Neville.
The pair opted for a centre back paring of Tony Adams and Jaap Stam, but could not decide between Ashley Cole and Dennis Irwin at left back. The issue was solved with a simple slash between their names.
Robert Pires and Cristiano Ronaldo kept out the likes of David Beckham, Ryan Giggs and Marc Overmars on the wings, whilst Vieira and Keane opted to put themselves in the middle of the park.
The two settled for a French front two of Thierry Henry and Eric Cantona.
What does everyone think? Is this the best combined Manchester United and Arsenal eleven, or would you make changes?
