Manchester United boss David Moyes has not had much to cheer in recent weeks, and Saturday was another bad day at the office.
By the time the Baggies had ‘boinged’ away from Old Trafford, Moyes found himself managing a side that had suffered back to back Premier League defeats, and without a Premier League goal from open play since the opening day win over Swansea City – despite some sublime Wayne Rooney free-kicks.
Seven points from a possible 18, three defeats out of six including those to your biggest rivals Liverpool and Manchester City before the end of September does not make for good reading.
So in order to cheer himself up after another tough weekend, Moyes decided it was time to go and get the upgrade he was due on his phone.
And after upgrading to the new iPhone 5S, Moyes finally had something to cheer – as the slightly larger screen meant he was able to check United’s league position without having to scroll down!
Finally something to cheer for David Moyes!
