You can say what you like about David Moyes – and most people do – but one thing you can’t accuse the Manchester United manager of lacking is Christmas spirit.
The Scot has certainly been in a giving sort of mood this winter, and especially in the month of December.
In fact, he’s been so generous that he has given Newcastle United their first win at Old Trafford since 1972, whereas just days before he gave his old club Everton their first three points at the home of the Champions in 21 years.
And for everyone, he has given the fact that United have now lost back-to-back home games for the first time since the end of the 2001/02 season.
Fans of Aston Villa, West Ham United, Hull City and Norwich City will sure be hoping his generous spell continues over the festive period… along with the rest of us!
