A common feature in the Football Transfer Tavern in recent weeks has been the noticing of various mistakes by broadcasters.
Sky Sports, the BBC and newly formed BT Sport have all been involved in various cock ups down the weeks, from naming Roy Hodgson as the Premier League’s all-time scorer, to claiming Craig Bellamy played a ‘cute ass’ to Aaron Ramsey whilst on international duty.
And now it seems the broadcasting mistakes have spread further afield, this time to Russia.
And we have to say, this one is the worst of the bunch.
Ahead of Manchester City’s clash in the Champions League with CSKA Moscow at the Arena Khimki, some genius got the two Manchester clubs mixed up and decided to display the badge of great rivals Manchester United, in an error that was frankly insulting to everyone.
Come on guys. Really?
