Finally, some good news for Danny Welbeck.
The Manchester United ‘striker’ endured another wretched moment last night in a career that is fast seeing him become the new Emile Heskey!
Welbeck had the opportunity to give United the advantage in the Capital One Cup penalty shootout against Sunderland last night, and give United a real chance of heading to Wembley.
The England centre forward sent his shot horribly into space, and it didn’t get much better for United from that moment on.
Misses followed from golden boy Adnan Januzaj, Phil Jones and Rafael, and Sunderland will be trotting out at Wembley on March 2nd rather than Welbeck and company.
But the good news is, is that the ball from Welbeck’s kick has been found and returned.
By a helicopter team – in Leicester, of all places.
