It has been such a difficult start to the season for Manchester United fans that the club have decided to release a new shirt sponsor to give supporters encouragement that everything will be okay.
Tampax seem to have taken over the honour as they have extensive experience in dealing with bad periods – and it’s fair to say David Moyes is enduring one of those right now!
Saturday’s shock home defeat to West Bromwich Albion was United’s third in just six league games this season, whilst the other two came at the hands of their biggest rivals – Liverpool and Manchester City.
As Moyes sits twelfth in the league, with seven points from a possible 18, and without a goal in the league from open play since the opening day of the season, the last thing he needs is rival supporters making fake shirt sponsors implying that his team are rubbish.
But then again, this hasn’t happened too often in the past so for all those that have had to put up with United winning everything under the sun for so long – let them enjoy it while they can!
