Manchester United fans had a more exciting transfer window than most, with the club breaking their club record fee to bring in Juan Mata from Chelsea.
The £37 million Spaniard has been tasked with reviving the fortunes of David Moyes’ struggling side, who currently sit seventh in the Premier League, seven points off the top four.
A lot seem to have plenty of confidence in Mata though, especially considering all he has achieved in England so far.
He picked up FA Cup, Champions League and Europa League winners’ medals in two-and-a-half seasons at Chelsea, whilst also being named the club’s player of the year for two seasons running.
And according to ITV, Mata was also a part of the biggest band of all time.
The channel famous for football broadcasting gaffes, labelled Mata as Sir Paul McCartney during his welcome press conference at Old Trafford.
That £37 million is looking more of a bargain with each passing day.
