I’m sure you’ve worked out by now, that the moods of punters in the Football Transfer Tavern change quicker than John Terry changes his bed sheets when he hears the wife coming.
Just over a week ago, Liverpool fans were planning their excuses, of how to get out of work, so they could watch the Reds’ open top bus parade.
Now, after a couple of results, those customers aren’t exactly as perky as they were before!
Rather surprisingly, despite having a torrid season, the Manchester United regulars have perked up a little bit.
After cramming into the tavern, last night, to watch their beloved Red Devils easily overcome Hull City, they have recovered their sense of humour.
It was an emotional night with Nemanja Vidic and possibly Ryan Giggs saying goodbye to Old Trafford – with the latter Red Devils legend providing a comedic Lee Evans-like twist to his goodbye speech.
That only encouraged our Red Devils punters, who say they’ve supported United for 86 years, also having a cheeky pop at Steven Gerrard…
