Pantomime season is drawing to a close, which means Vincent Tan can go back into the shadows for a bit – we hope.
The Cardiff City owner and James Bond villain has been busy ruining Cardiff fans Christmas, by sacking popular manager Malky Mackay – for reasons nobody seems to understand.
Tan has since announced his replacement – former Manchester United striker and former Molde manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Norwegian was sat next to Tan at the Emirates yesterday – looking slightly nervous – to witness Cardiff’s 2-0 defeat to Arsenal, a result that has left the South Wales club just a single place above the relegation zone.
Still, the result (or the afternoon sat next to Tan) hasn’t stopped Solskjaer signing on the dotted line.
And here at the Football Transfer Tavern, we have managed to get our hands on a copy of Solskjaer’s new contract.
Best of luck Ole!
