Chelsea’s goalless bore draw with Norwich City at Stamford Bridge on Sunday all but ended their slim hopes of winning the Premier League title.
That, alongside last Wednesday’s elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Atletico Madrid, means Jose Mourinho’s first season back in charge of the Blues is set to end without silverware.
But it’s not his fault, obviously.
It’s down to Roman Abramovich ,for not allowing him to sign a striker, just as it’s down to Juan Mata’s for not working hard enough.
It’s West Ham’s fault or playing ’19th century football’, and it’s also down to Mike Riley and Mike Dean’s for the ‘fantastic job’ they’ve done this season.
It’s also down to Liverpool’s for being the ‘king of penalties’ and having no European competition this season to play in this season.
So before anyone starts blaming Jose Mourinho for Chelsea’s lack of silverware this season, think again..
Or, take a look at the statistics for how many times ‘the Special One’ has passed the buck this season.
