Look away now Liverpool fans.
The picture that seems to emerge around the time of every Merseyside derby at Goodison Park is back, and it does not make pleasant viewing for Reds fans.
This snap shows Steven Gerrard back in 1987, with his hands on the league trophy – as an Everton fan.
The Liverpool skipper explained the snap – that has in fact been turned into a banner sure to be on display this Saturday lunchtime – in his autobiography.
Gerrard claimed his uncle – a mad Everton fan – bought him the kit as a kid and took him to visit Goodison Park for the day during the time the Toffees were title holders.
Whilst Gerrard claims he was too young to know better, he has never been allowed to live it down by Everton fans, who are always more than happy to crack the joke it will be the only time Gerrard gets his hands on a league trophy.
Shame whoever made this ruined the joke by being unable to spell the word title!
