It was a quiet old deadline day at Manchester United.
David Moyes smugly claimed Sky Sports could take down their camera’s at the Old Trafford gates, as their January business was done and dusted.
But Moyesie’s claims he wasn’t disappointed to have not added more signings before the deadline, didn’t fool us.
Especially since this leaked shot of his outgoing calls yesterday has emerged.
As you can see, Moyes didn’t have much luck.
The United manager gave Leighton Baines a call first of all, just to check there was no chance of him tearing up his new contract at Goodison Park, and swapping 6th place for 7th.
Moyes then did his best to get hold of top target Toni Kroos, but three calls later, there was still no answer.
Moyes continued the trend of calling Munich, but had no better luck when trying to contact Pep Guardiola and Mario Mandzukic.
In fact, even He Man and dear old Uncle Fergie refused to answer his calls.
And we can all understand why.
