It never rains but it pours for Manchester United fans and poor old David Moyes.
United supporters do not know what has hit them this season.
Used to seeing their team storming toward the Premier League title, this year has been all about mid-table mediocrity.
The finally had something to cheer on Wednesday night, when a Robin van Persie hat trick inspired a second leg comeback against Olympiakos.
But United fans haven’t been able to celebrate that for long.
Yesterday’s Champions League draw saw them paired with tournament holders and favourites Bayern Munich (good luck Moyesie), before the news emerged that RVP could have played his last game of the season after being ruled out with a sprained knee sustained in the dying minutes of Wednesday’s game.
An alternative could be to call up this guy however, a dead ringer for Robin van Persie that has emerged here in the Football Transfer Tavern.
To be fair, he would probably manage more touches than the Dutchman did against Liverpool last week.
