It was always going to happen Theo.
Arsenal and England star Theo Walcott caused outrage amongst Tottenham fans who had taunted him all afternoon and as he lay receiving treatment on the side of the pitch for the injury he sustained.
Walcott dared to respond with a hand gesture to remind Spurs fans of the 2-0 scoreline and was pelted with coins for his trouble.
Now the news has emerged Walcott will be ruled out for six months after rupturing his knee ligaments; an injury that will see him miss the rest of the season and the summer’s World Cup.
Of course, Tottenham fans have been queuing up to get their revenge.
Twitter has been full of photos of like these – Tottenham fans in their favourite shirt holding up six fingers to remind Walcott just how long he will be out for.
Well, whatever makes you feel better Tottenham fans!
