Sporting Lisbon target Man United swoop

AndersonThe Manchester United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are having a bloody massive party in honour of Nani who finally exited the club this week.

But if the bouncers are not careful it could turn into a two day session with reports suggesting that another flop is set to leave Old Trafford.

According to the Daily Express Anderson is set to move to Sporting Lisbon for a fee believed to be around £5.5 million.

The Portuguese outfit have already secured the services of Nani but it seems that one flop is not enough as they edge closer to securing Anderson,

The Brazilian has failed to live up to his whopping £20 million price-tag since signing for then-manager Alex Ferguson seven seasons ago.

He spent last season on-loan with Italian side Fiorentina but made just seven appearances and failed to score a single goal in the Serie A.

And it seems that finally the Red Devils are set to get back a small portion of what they wasted on the midfielder – freeing up some wages in the process.
