Spurs: Face fight to keep hold of key striker with Juventus in the hunt

Mauricio Pochettino could be set for a fight to keep hold of one of his star players, with Juventus among the clubs interested in signing South Korean star, Son-Heung Min.

The pacey forward has been a key part of the Spurs squad over the last few seasons and played a vital role in helping the club reach the Champions League final last season.

However, according to the Express, his form has not gone unnoticed, with both Juventus and fellow Serie A giants Napoli now wanting to sign the Spurs star.

The 27-year-old has struggled to replicate the form he showed last year as Spurs have struggled in the main this term in the Premier League. However, he’s still managed two Premier League goals and two assists despite the team’s struggles.

Last season saw Son hit 16 goals in the league and Champions League combined and it will be this sort of form that has caught the eye of onlooking clubs.

Juventus are already awash with attacking options but with Cristiano Ronaldo now well into his 30’s, the club will be aware they might need to make a move for a younger player in the next few transfer windows.

It would be a bitter blow for Spurs to lose a player like Son but sometimes, when a club like Juventus come calling, it can be hard to turn down.

These are tricky times for Spurs with the form they are in and constant murmurings about Pochettino’s future with the club too.

The club should be wary of selling their top players and triggering a mass exodus. Indeed, it already looks like Christian Eriksen will be leaving the club, so to lose Son too would represent a bitter blow for the creativity of the team.

Tottenham fans, do you think the club will be able to keep ahold of Son? Let us know your thoughts by sharing them below!
