Imagine how supporters might have felt this week if it wasn’t for Hugo Lloris and Jan Vertonghen’s heroics in the dying embers of the North London derby.
Spurs appear to have diverted their attention towards the summer transfer window, as according to Ekstra Bladet, as per Sky Sports (via TEAMtalk), Tottenham are at the front of the queue for Robert Skov and are ready to make a firm offer.
What’s the News?
The likes of West Ham United, Watford and Wolves are all believed to be looking at the FC Copenhagen winger.
But, Tottenham are thought to be ready to make an offer for the 22-year-old, who operates as a right winger and has scored 24 goals in all competitions in the current campaign.
Of course, many fans will be praying that Daniel Levy empties his pockets in the summer transfer window after failing to spend a single penny in the last two windows, with silverware and success only being achieved if the North London club start to add to their current batch of players.
Harry Kane has been calling out for support in the current campaign, which has mostly been provided by the hugely impressive Son Heung-min, but Pochettino could still do with bringing in a prolific attacker that can take Spurs’ attack to the next level, as well as helping lighten the load on Kane’s shoulders.
The winger is only 22 years of age and he’s been training alongside Christian Eriksen on the international stage with Denmark, so Spurs fans could be in for a treat if he’s half as good as his fellow countryman.
Spurs fans, do you think Skov has the quality to slot right into Mauricio Pochettino’s side? Join the discussion by commenting below.
