Spurs sensationally ready to axe record breaker this summer, Bundesliga deal could be on the cards

Son Heung-Min

The Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern have been rocked following reports the club are willing to axe one of their biggest stars following their title collapse.

Though it was a remarkable season on the whole for Spurs, the manner in which they meekly surrendered the title, as well as second spot to arch-rivals Arsenal, has left a rather sour taste in the mouth.

While much of the talk will naturally centre around potential arrivals ahead of their Champions League campaign, the Telegraph claim their will be a big name victim to the end of season collapse.

As Mauricio Pochettino continues to deploy a high energy style, the Argentine is reportedly at a loss with one of his most expensive players due to a number of poor performances.

It is claimed the former Southampton manager is willing to axe Son Heung-min just a year after buying him for £22m, making him the most expensive Asian player of all time.

He was dragged off at half-time following the dismal defeat away at relegated Newcastle United and the North London outfit are believed to be willing to sell the attacker.

The South Korean star is understood to still be highly rated in the Bundesliga thanks to his time with Bayer Leverkusen, which is an avenue Spurs will look to go down.

Does Son deserve another season? Or should Spurs cut ties?
