Spurs should add some pace to their attacking play and sign this 24-year-old speedster

Spurs are cruising along quite nicely in the top flight this season as they seek to cement a Champions League spot and come as close as possible to Manchester City as they can.

At the time of writing, Spurs were looking to continue their good form with a win at Southampton, and manager Mauricio Pochettino will be keen to ensure his team keep their momentum going for the home stretch of the season.

Here in the Tavern, our landlord has loved watching Spurs this term and has enjoyed plenty of beers with some of their fans at our bar, and this week’s been no different, with plenty of ale sunk and loads of chat centering around the January transfer window.

One player our landlord brought up this week who he thinks can be a good signing is current Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Carrasco, who can offer Spurs something completely different to what they already have in their squad.

Blessed with electric pace and the ability to create from either wing, Carrasco has developed into one of the key men in Madrid, and at 24, he has plenty of time to keep developing and improve further.

With Spurs having so much focus on Harry Kane, having another option around the forward line in the form of Carrasco would give them the opportunity of changing their gameplan somewhat. He could well be a massive difference make at Wembley if the Londoners can snap him up.

Spurs fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know!
