Spurs smashed three past Chelsea last weekend to cement their push for a top four spot and put one over on their London rivals, who had previously had an imperious record against Mauricio Pochettino’s men previously.
The Londoners have steadily built over the last few seasons to develop a young core of players who have the ability to be a force to be reckoned with in the Premier League for years to come, and our landlord here in the Tavern thinks that there are even more young players out there who the club can snap up.
One such player who our he thinks the club need to go all out to buy is Nottingham Forest youngster Ben Brereton, who has impressed for the Reds this season when given the chance and is regarded as one of the highest rated talents outside the top flight.
The youngster is looking like developing into a top talent, and a move to the Premier League will not be far away for the youngster if he carries on in the same vein.
Putting Brereton in a team with the likes of Dele Alli, Harry Kane, and Harry Winks, can only improve him further, and over time, he would surely develop into a massive first team player for Pochettino and his men.
With a host of clubs likely to be scrambling for his signature over the summer, Spurs should jump the queue and make sure they put up the money to secure the signing of Brereton in this transfer window.
Toon Army, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
