Spurs are up and running in the Premier League and have delivered some excellent performances so far, despite their woes at Wembley continuing.
The club continue to seem to improve year on year under Maurico Pochettino, and in Harry Kane and Dele Alli, they have two genuine world class talents who are capable of taking the club to glory if they can keep hold of them.
Our landlord here in the Tavern thinks success isn’t far off, but also thinks the club need to keep adding talent to the ranks, especially to secure their future and beat some of their rivals to some of the top young talent in the game at moment.
One such talent who is impressing of late is Sheffield United midfielder David Brooks, who has earned his first call up to the Wales squad last week.
Brooks has shown tremendous talent so far in his short lived career with the Blades, and looks to be every bit the sort of talent who will go on to have a successful career in the Premier League. His ability to run with the ball and his confidenct in possession marks him out for someone so young, and Spurs should look to snap him up if they can.
The club have a history of signing players from the Blades, with the likes of Kyle Walker joining previously, and Brooks could certainly be the next big thing if nurtured the correct way at Spurs.
Spurs fans, what do you think? Would you take Brooks? Let us know!Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
