Following his part in organising Tottenham’s Christmas jaunt to Dublin, The Mirror claim Robbie Keane could be offloaded to Celtic in a deal that could see keeper Artur Boruc go in the opposite direction.
Keane is in his second spell at White Hart Lane, returning to the club after a ill fated spell at Liverpool but has found himself behind both Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe, so organising a trip to Dublin behind Harry Redknapp’s back probably wasn’t the smartest thing to do.
Redknapp could kill to birds with one stone getting rid of the Irish man as well as bringing in a much needed goalkeeper in Artur Boruc following Carlo Cudicini’s motorcycle accident.
