The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate for defender Mamadou Sakho to return to Liverpool next season…
This is a sentiment that Stan Collymore seemingly agrees with, having recently taken to Twitter to discuss the topic of what the Reds should do with the on-loan defender at the end of the season.
Of course, Sakho was sent on loan earlier this season after a bust-up with Jurgen Klopp, and he has since impressed at Crystal Palace.
According to Collymore, his fine performances deserve a return to Anfield this summer – with the pundit taking to Twitter to reveal his views on the matter.

So it seems as though Collymore is all for the idea of keeping Sakho this summer, and it is very hard to disagree. He has been a rock in the heart of the Eagles’ defence this season, and whilst Klopp may want to get rid at the end of the season, he needs to recognise just how good Sakho really is.
After all, the Reds have struggled at the back this season – with James Milner forced to play out of position and the likes of Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan not likely to be long-term solutions.
Our landlord thinks that unless Liverpool can make a hefty profit on him, they should really hold on to him for next season.
