The Evening Standard suggest Radamel Falcao wants to leave West London just months into his loan spell with the Blues after being frozen-out by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who is under intense pressure after a woeful start to the season.
29-year-old Falcao has found the net once this season and has only made two starts, with Diego Costa continuously preferred ahead of the Colombian; despite the Spaniard showing unimpressive form in the early stages of the new campaign.
Falcao was left behind as the club travelled to Porto in the Champions League, where they lost 2-0, and didn’t make the bench for Saturday’s win over Aston Villa; which is a major surprise as it was Mourinho who argued the case of signing Falcao.
Our Chelsea regulars are concerned by Mourinho’s bold attitude this season, which has earned him wide criticisms, and are unconvinced that the club can attract a striker of the highest calibre in January.
Chelsea fans, would it be a mistake to let Falcao terminate his loan spell? Let us know in the comments below.
