There are some interesting reports arriving in the Football Transfer Tavern as The Mirror journalist Liam Prederville takes a seat at the bar.
He suggests that long-term Premier League target Alen Halilovic is ready to reject English interest to join Barcelona instead.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham have all been reportedly keeping tabs on the Dinamo Zagreb midfielder during the last few months.
Now according to reports in his native Croatia, the 17-year-old is close to agreeing a deal with the Catalan giants with his contract expiring at the end of the season.
And Barca representatives could even soon travel to Zagreb to close the deal, before loaning him back to Dinamo for the remainder of the season.
Halilovic, despite his young age, already has three international caps to his name and he is very highly regarded in European football.
Punters are looking disappointed in the bar with the latest news but hopes remain that he could still reject the advances from the Camp Nou for a move to one of the many Premier League suitors.
