The Stoke City fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been fairly content with their start to the 2015/16 campaign and the form of one man in particular has given them cause for celebration.
Spaniard Bojan has been in fine form for the Potters during the season so far and City fans will be delighted to learn that, according to an article in The Daily Mirror, boss Mark Hughes insists he has no desire to sell one of his star men.
There’s a lot of misinformation,” said the Potters boss. “It’s just a little bit of mischief making.
“There is no clause. There is no intention or desire from us, certainly as a club, or from Bojan or his people from what conversations I’ve had.
“He’s very happy and we are very happy with him, so it’s just a normal January story really.”
The little magician scored the opening goal against Manchester United on Boxing Day, subsequently prompting the Stoke fans in the Tavern into getting on the two-for-one shots at the bar.
The landlord here in the Tavern thinks that Bojan is integral to any success that the club will have in the near future and selling him would be criminal at this stage!
