The Stoke City fans are gathered around the dartboard in The Transfer Tavern discussing reports that their club are not interested in a Belgian striker.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Premier League club made a written offer in the region of £20 million rejected by Marseille for striker Michy Batshuyi last night.
Whilst Stoke manager Mark Hughes is keen to add a striker and a midfielder to the club’s ranks before tonight’s 11pm deadline, Sky Sports News continue to state today that Stoke have dismissed the latest reports regarding Batshuayi.
Hughes was keen to add the Begian who has managed to score 15 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions this season.
It s thought that Stoke are now considering testing West Bromwich Albion’s resolve as they are considering making a bid for want away striker Saido Berahino.
Those Stoke fans in The Tavern are pleased the club are looking at making additions to their squad and are pleased that they are not looking at paying over the odds to secure players.
