Stoke City hold transfer advantage over Manchester United?

4464080Fans in the Football Transfer Tavern still cannot believe that of all the clubs in the Premier League, it is Stoke City that have started to establish good links with Spanish giants Barcelona.

The Potters have already signed Bojan Krkic and Marc Muniesa from the Catalan side over the past couple of seasons.

And now according to The Mirror, Mark Hughes is set to try and raid Luis Enrique’s side yet again as he keeps tabs on Adama Traore.

Talented Traore was on the Potters’ radar this summer along with Manchester United but Barca decided to hold on to him for now at least.

The idea was to further his education at the Camp Nou but many suggest that he may go out on loan in January until the end of the season.

Hughes is now keeping close tabs on the Spanish-born talent and it is thought that the clubs’ partnership could see them have first refusal.
