Stoke enter race for promising £10 million valued star

Our Stoke fans here in the Transfer Tavern aren’t too sure where their season is going to end up but, according to The Sun, the coming summer promises to be a fairly decent one already.

Whilst we’ve only just seen the back of the January transfer window, plenty of rumours are already being kicked up ahead of next summer and here in the Transfer Tavern we’re trying to take all of it in.

Indeed, one of the latest rumours is that the Potters are now in the race to sign left back Andy Robertson from Hull City with the player reportedly ready to leave the KCOM Stadium.

The Tigers seemed determined on selling their best players in January as the likes of Robert Snodgrass and Jake Livermore left for pastures new.

Indeed, Robertson also looked destined for departure after agreeing to join Burnley but the deal was pulled at the very last as the Tigers couldn’t get a replacement.

The Scotland international still wants to leave though and, after the Clarets agreed a £10 million fee, it’s thought that’s where Stoke need to be aiming if they want to bring him in.
