The Stoke City supporting punters here in the Transfer Tavern have been patiently waiting for their boss Mark Hughes to hand them some good news with regards to transfers.
One Potters supporter is enjoying an evening tipple with his work colleague in the Tavern when he spots an article in The Metro that claims the club have tabled an offer for Burnley defender Michael Keane.
With the Clarets set to sign Brentford defender James Tarkowski, boss Sean Dyche could be more inclined to sell his central defender, with Stoke in pole position.
A pool playing punter is not too sure about whether Keane could do a job for Stoke and thinks if he genuinely a future Premier League player, Manchester United wouldn’t have been so keen to offload him.
Another is sat with his wife with his Stoke City shirt on and thinks Mark Hughes has recruited fantastically before and hopes this will be another shrewd piece of business.
