Stoke should add some pace to their play and sign this expensive Wolves ace

Stoke had their usual steady season in the Premier League last term under Mark Hughes, with the former Man City manager keen to progress the club following years under Tony Pulis.

The Potters will be hoping this season brings more stability and success in the Premier League, and they will be hoping for a good summer in the transfer window as they look to add some quality to their ranks.

The Stoke fans here in the Tavern have been pretty quiet though thus far, with the club failing to make huge waves in the market so far. It looks very likely the club will strengthen come the end of August though, and our landlord thinks they need to.

One player our landlord thinks could do a job though is current Wolves attacking winger Helder Costa, who was a revelation following what was a loan and then big money move to the Championship last term.

Costa would no doubt come at quite a cost given he has only just signed for Wolves, but he has all the qualities which make him ideal for a top Premier League player. His pace, ability to play either wing, and match winning ability make him an extremely dangerous opponent for any defender.

Wolves fans will no doubt be hoping he can fire them to the Premier League, but every player has a price in football. Stoke could do with adding some pace to their squad, and Costa would certainly be a player who could bring their passionate fans to their feet.

Stoke fans, what do you think? Would you take Costa? Let us know!
