Manchester United and Chelsea have received a surprise transfer boost, after a quality striker revealed they’re the only two English sides he’ll consider joining.
Spanish outlet AS states Juventus forward Alvaro Morata would prefer to play at Real Madrid next season but, if that’s not possibly, Manchester United and Chelsea are the English clubs he would consider.
The 23-year-old forward, currently on duty with Spain at Euro 2016 as they seek to win a third consecutive European Championships crown, is likely to be on the move this summer as Real Madrid prepare to activate a buy-back clause in the Spaniard’s contract at Juventus.
However, Real Madrid want to sell for a profit and Morata is not keen on joining Arsenal or Paris Saint-Germain and will instead consider United and Chelsea, with all four clubs showing an interest in his services.
The news may come as a surprise as neither the Red Devils or Antonio Conte’s side can offer Champions League football, whereas PSG and Arsenal can, but our landlord suggests fans should definitely take these reports with a pinch of salt.
Which club will Morata be playing for next season? Let us know in the comments below!
