So far the likes of Roberto Firmino, Christian Benteke and Danny Ings respectively, have all arrived on Merseyside thus far, helping to soften the blow of losing Raheem Sterling to City.
However, today it looks like one of Liverpool’s existing front-men, Fabio Borini, is going out the door of the club after a rather dismal spell at Anfield.
According to reports from the Guardian, Brendan Rodgers has entered into discussions with Italian side Fiorentina about the possible sale of the 24-year old former Chelsea player.
Since joining Liverpool in 2012, Borini has only managed a grand total of 25 appearances for the Reds, including just eight first-team starts and only two goals.
He has previously spent a spell on loan in Serie A for Roma and now the Italian striker will be hoping to salvage something of his career back in his homeland.
