Striker set to return for West Ham United

Andy Carroll (On loan at West Ham United)West Ham’s turbulent season which has seen them beat the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool, but lose to Bournemouth and Leicester at home has been hit by some stabilising news as reported in the Mirror, that big front man Andy Carroll could return to action for the Hammers on Monday.

Carroll’s career has come to a bit of a stop start, with him struggling with injury after injury in recent years. This restricting him to just 30 appearances in the last two years, since his £15m permanent move to West Ham in 2013.

However, he is hoping to put that behind him this season and looks set to return to the squad for the Monday night game against his former team Newcastle United.

Manager Bilic has said he has looked good in training and instead of playing him straight away after his injuries when he feels ok to play like he has in the past – only to get injured again.

The striker even posted a video of him training on his Twitter, in which he looks particularly sharp – leaving West Ham fans quietly surprised here in the Transfer Tavern and got them talking up their chances of challenging for Europe!
