The West Ham fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to their club’s tweet, showcasing Joe Hart’s three memorable saves at Stamford Bridge from last Sunday’s 1-1 draw. Hart has struggled over the last two years as he’s been unable to gain the form that catapulted him into the Manchester City first team and made him England number one.

Joe Hart was one of the Hammers’ best performers against Chelsea as he stood up to Eden Hazard, Willian and Alvaro Morata valiantly. Overall, West Ham fans will be pleased with the result and the display from their side after falling behind through a rare Cesar Azpilicueta goal. David Moyes’ side refused to lie down and got their equaliser in the second-half when substitute Javier Hernandez stroked the ball home after a superb cutback from Marko Arnautovic.
Joe Hart is currently on-loan at the London Stadium and looks unlikely to break back into the first team in Manchester on his return. Ederson has been revelation under Pep Guardiola and has put in a number of displays expected from a ‘keeper at the Premier League’s best club, however, his form will most certainly deny Hart any form of a career revival in Manchester and he’s done little to help himself with a number of high profile mistakes during his time at Torino last season and West Ham in the current campaign.
You can read our resident Irons’ verdict on Hart’s Chelsea performance:
We saw these regularly at City. Im glad he has found his form.

Joe hart was superb , but I have seen Adrian do this week in week for most his career , we just take him for granted . I hope joe grows from this though and has a strong end to the season for us

Did anyone else notice though that the save from the one on one with Willian wasn’t part of the sky sports app highlights – they cut straight to the corner. Good job I watched the game otherwise I wouldn’t know how the corner came about. Hart hater doing the editing..?!?!?
