The Swansea City fans who are competing in a pool tournament in The Transfer Tavern this evening are discussing comments made by their manager with regards to a striker signed by the club in January.
The Daily Star is reporting that Francesco Guidolin has tipped striker Alberto Paloschi to become an integral player for the team next season.
The striker arrived at the Liberty Stadium from Cheivo in January and performed well early on, but a dip in form has seen the player fall back down the pecking order, but this does not concern Guidolin who knows their is more to come from the striker.
Speaking about Paloschi, Guidolin said:
“Alberto is a good player but in this period I saw some difficulties he was having and I chose to play Bafetimbi. But it is no problem for Alberto. He is a good guy and it is normal when you are finding your way in a new world.”
“He is still learning but I know how good a player he is and that he can score goals for this club. He will need time because it is different for him and it may be that we do not see the best of him until next season, but he will get there.”
The Swansea fans in The Tavern agree that they have not seen the best from Paloschi so far but with time they are confident that he can become a key player for the squad.
