Swansea City face an uphill task to stay in the Premier League following last night’s 4-2 defeat at home to their relegation rivals Sunderland.
Some of the Swans’ contingent were looking particularly glum last night here in the Transfer Tavern, particularly with their team’s inability to keep hold of a lead.
One Swansea fan is flicking through one of the regional newspapers and spots a transfer rumour that could offer the Swans a glimmer of hope however, with the Liverpool Echo reporting that Everton forward Steven Naismith is at the top of boss Alan Curtis’ shopping list.
Naismith has found himself down the pecking order with the Toffees and is keen to leave in an attempt to play more frequent first-team football.
One Swans supporter is puffing away on a cigarette in the smoking area of the Tavern, and thinks a striker is exactly what the club needs if they are to stay in the top flight for next season!
Meanwhile, a handful of Everton punters here in the Tavern admit they would miss the Scottish forward, as he has always given 100% for the team!
Swansea fans… Do you want the club to press ahead with a move for Naismith? Let us know below!
