Swansea City eyeing move for familiar face to help escape relegation

SinclairThe Swansea City supporting punters here in the Transfer Tavern haven’t had much to shout about lately, with last night’s 4-2 defeat at the hands of Sunderland, leaving them perilously close to the Premier League relegation zone.

The Swans faithful will be happy to know that boss Alan Curtis is set to step-up his recruitment drive over the next couple of days, in a bid to secure enough quality to keep the club in the league.

One Swansea die-hard has just ordered himself a pint of the landlord’s best real ale when he spots an article in the Birmingham Mail, which states former Swansea loan star Scott Sinclair could be about to make a switch from basement boys Aston Villa.

Sinclair helped the club into the Premier League with a series of fine performances back during the 2010/11 campaign and is thought to welcome a move back to Wales.

One punter thinks it would be a decent move for the club, with the team currently looking short of ideas going forward.

Meanwhile, a handful of glum looking Villa fans here in the Tavern say they would be gutted to see the speedy winger go, because on his day, he can be unplayable!

Swansea fans… Would you have Sinclair back at the club? Will you escape the drop? Let us know your thoughts and opinions below!
