Swansea City manager Garry Monk quashes talk of any top players leaving

monk3Swansea City fans here inside the Football Transfer Tavern are ordering another pint after hearing the words from manager Garry Monk, after he today fended off any clubs interested in his players in the upcoming January transfer market, saying his players are not for sale, as reported by Wales Online.

Swansea have started the season extremely brightly and currently sit eighth in the Premier League table, and they have a number of players who are excelling this season at the Welsh club.

Despite this Garry Monk has insisted his players are committed to the Swansea City cause and the players are showing this in the way they play. He went on to admit that sometimes money talks, however he knows the chairman well and if the deal doesn’t suit the club he is confident he will not be losing any of his players.

The Swansea boss is determined for his club not to follow the same route as Southampton after last summer’s exodus after their successful campaign in 2013/14.

Our resident Swansea City supporting punters over by the billiards table are excited about the future at the Liberty Stadium, and feel that keeping hold of some of the club’s most talented starts will stand them in good stead for the rest of the 2015/16 campaign.

So Swansea fans….. Are you worried that the club’s recent success will see the departure of your key players? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
