Swansea City open talks with experienced manager

MoyesThe Swansea City fans in The Transfer Tavern are gathered around the jukebox discussing reports that the club are in talks with a potential new manager.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Welsh club have opened talks with David Moyes about becoming the club’s new manager.

Current manager Garry Monk is close to the axe following his sides humiliating home defeat to Leicester City, that led to a chorus of boos from all sides of the Liberty Stadium.

Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins is ready to make a change as Saturday’s defeat sees the club sit just two points clear of the Premier League relegation zone and he believes that Moyes is the man to steady the ship and lead the club away from danger.

The Swansea fans in The Transfer Tavern are not surprised by the news that the chairman is set to make a change, and would welcome a manager like David Moyes to the club.

Swans fans, is Moyes the ideal Monk replacement? Let us know in the comments below!
