Swansea City are in the midst of somewhat of a resurgence under new manager Carlos Carvalhal, with the Swans putting together an excellent run of results which has left them in serious contention to pull off what looked an unlikely survival in the Premier League some weeks back.
The Swans and their fans who frequent us here in the Tavern have already been turning their attentions to the summer, with plenty of the supporters expecting Carvalhal to go out and invest in some new talent to prevent a similar struggle next term.
One such player who has been mentioned quite a few times by some of our punters is big Cardiff City striker Kenneth Zohore, who has been a revelation this season for Neil Warnock’s men.
Despite impressing for the Bluebirds, the striker will no doubt want to challenge himself in the top flight, and if a someone comes in with the right money in the summer and Cardiff remain in the Championship, then Zohore might well seek to move.
While a move to a rival Welsh club in Swansea might not be his number one destination of choice, the big man could flourish playing under Carvalhal and alongside the likes of young striker Tammy Abraham if he sees his move made permanent.
Only four goals this season might not look like massively impressive stats, but at 24, Zohore has time to develop further, and a move to the Swans and the Premier League could be the making of him.
Swansea fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
