The Swansea fan in the Transfer Tavern are being bombarded with rumours over who is leaving the club and who is joining. However some Swansea fans by the bar have heard that their first signing might come quicker than expected.
Former Blackburn and QPR winger Junior Hoilett looks set to join Swansea on a free as his contract with QPR has now ran out.
Hoilett was signed by QPR when they where in the Premier League and they could no longer sustain his £45,000 a week deal deal.
The Mirror reports that Swansea are looking at Hoilett as a good squad player given the fact that Montero and Emnes’s future’s at the club look uncertain.
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins is known to be an admirer of Hoilett having tried to bring in the 25 year old in 2013. The Mirror also reports that both the club and Hoilett’s agent are confident that an agreement can be made.
With Swansea looking to strengthen their squad early they are also looking at other wide midfielders. Norwich’s Nathan Redmond and Newcastle’s Andros Townsend are also known to be on the top of Swansea’s transfer list.
Swansea Fans…. Is Hoilett a good signing for your club? Or should you consider going for other players?
