Swansea keen to bring former manager back to Premier League football

rodgers222The Swansea City fans in The Transfer Tavern are gathered at the bar in The Transfer Tavern this evening discussing reports concerning their club’s managerial situation for next season.

The South Wales Evening Post is reporting that Swansea are eager to appoint Brendan Rodgers as the club’s manager before the beginning of next season.

The 43 year old is no stranger to the fans at the Liberty Stadium having a successful spell as the club’s manager which led to him getting the job at Liverpool.

No deal has yet been agreed between the club or Rodgers and although the club have been successful under current boss Francesco Guidolin his ill health is going to count against him when it comes to talks over a new deal which clearly Swansea seem set against offering.

The Swansea fans in The Tavern are delighted at the prospect of Rodgers taking control at the club once again and feel he is the right man for the job.

Swansea fans, is bringing Rodgers back the right call? Let us know in the comments below!
