The Swansea fans have been loving all the gossip in the Transfer Tavern regarding all of the Managerial rumours. However, today it seems that a former player may be on his way back to the Liberty Stadium.
The Daily Mail have reported that Wilfried Bony may be on his way back to Swansea after only 18 months after he left.
The current Manchester City striker has found first teams opportunities difficult and, with Kelechi Iheanacho’s rise in the teams, it looks likely that Bony may become City’s third choice striker. The arrival of Pep Guardiola may also bring a variety of departures at Manchester City as he looks to revamp the Manchester side.
So, with this in mind, Swansea are apparently looking to bring back the Ivory Coast international, hopefully for less than what they sold him for.
While Bony’s record at City has been poor, at Swansea he was seen as a key player having scored 35 goals in 70 appearances for the club. Also ,with Swansea looking to depart with Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis this summer Bony would be seen as a great replacement for the Welsh club.
Swansea Fans… Would you take Bony back? Or should your club be looking at other players?
