Swansea offered Brazilian striker in surprise deal

RobinhoThe Swansea City fans are gathered around the jukebox in the Transfer Tavern and discussing reports the club have been offered a Brazilian superstar.

The South Wales Evening Post is reporting that the Premier League side have been approached by representatives of former Manchester City man Robinho.

It is not thought that the Welsh side will decide to make an offer for the player, who despite being a free agent, would more than likely want astronomical wages.

Robinho is no stranger to fans of the Premier League after becoming Manchester City’s marquee signing when signing for the club in January 2008.

Swansea are not known for their reputation at signing big name players and will not be tempted to make the player an offer as many believe he is well past his best.

The Swansea fans in The Tavern are in full agreement and believe wages paid to Robinho would be better spent elsewhere on a couple of quality players.

Swansea fans, would Robinho assure you stay in the Premier League? Let us know in the comments below!
