Our Swansea and West Brom fans have had very different seasons following their sides here in the Transfer Tavern this year but, according to Bild, they share at least one summer transfer target.
The Baggies have been going great guns in the Premier League this year with them well in with a chance of European football for next campaign.
Swansea, meanwhile, have had one to forget though things look to have turned a corner under their third manager of the season – Paul Clement.
Whatever happens between now and the end of the year, though, both will have designs on improved campaigns next time out and it looks as though they are targeting Sandro Wagner as part of their respective improvements.
The striker has impressed over in the Bundesliga this season for Hoffenheim as they continue to go well in the German top flight.
The 29-year-old has eleven goals in 19 appearances from all competitions this season and could be exactly the kind of experienced forward both sides need to take them up a level.
Our landlord is impressed by him, too, but thinks he’d be better suited to going to West Brom over the Swans.
