Swansea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are crossing their fingers in hope that they could bring their former striker back to the Liberty Stadium.
According to The Mirror, the Swans manager Francesco Guidolin wants Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony to spearhead his attacks next season.
Swansea will have to pay £16 million to bring him back to Wales after the striker has failed to carry his form, which earned him a move, into his performances at the Etihad Stadium.
New City boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly informed the Ivorian that he is not part of his future plans and has been told he will be offloaded this summer.
This has not come to a shock to punters in the Tavern as he is only managed to score 10 goals in the 18 months he has spent at Manchester City.
He signed for £28 million under Manuel Pellegrini but under Guardiola he is expected to be one of the first out of the door.
Swansea fans. Would you welcome Wilfried Bony back for £16 million? Let us know your thoughts below.
